A trailblazer for women in journalism and an icon of in-depth reporting, Judy Woodruff spent five decades covering American politics — from the Carter White House to nearly two decades anchoring PBS NewsHour. She’ll share insights from that remarkable career in a conversation onstage with Micaela Schweitzer-Bluhm, executive director of The Maine Monitor, Maine’s independent nonprofit investigative news service.

Woodruff’s honors include an Emmy for Lifetime Achievement, the Peabody Journalistic Integrity Award, and the Goldsmith Career Award for Excellence in Journalism.
