Camden Conference Announces New Livestream Venue in N.C.

The Carolina Meadows Retirement Community in Chapel Hill, N.C., will become a livestream venue of the Camden Conference in 2027, joining the Conference’s venues in Camden, Rockland, and Falmouth, Maine.
“We are delighted that Carolina Meadows will join us for the 2027 Camden Conference,” said Matt Storin, president of the Camden Conference. “Many of our individual livestream viewers already tune in from outside Maine. As we celebrate our 40th year, Carolina Meadows gives us a wonderful new way to bring people together to watch and discuss the Conference as a community.”
Carolina Meadows is a large planned community and retirement center for approximately 1,000 residents. Located in Chapel Hill, it is near Duke University, the University of North Carolina, and North Carolina State University.
“As ten-year veterans of attending in person in Camden, Judy and I are excited, and honored, to bring the Camden Conference to Carolina Meadows,” said Hugh Tilson, Carolina Meadows Resident Liaison for the project. “We can’t wait to share these fantastic programs with our North Carolina friends.”
The 2027 Camden Conference, Beyond the American Century: A New World Order?, will be held February 19–21, 2027. Residents and friends of Carolina Meadows will be informed soon about registration for those who wish to attend at the Chapel Hill livestream venue.
The Camden Conference is produced live in Camden, Maine, and livestreamed to venues in Rockland and Falmouth, Maine, and to homes and classrooms around the world. A nonprofit, nonpartisan forum on global affairs, the Conference already draws attendees from more than 25 states, many of them joining by livestream from home. The 2027 Conference marks its 40th year.
