Camden Conference > For High School Students

1095_CamCon2014_0679_StudentLunch_JumaGuzman1.jpgSince 2010, grants from The Lerner Foundation and the Maine Humanities Council have provided the funding to develop study guides based on the Camden Conference topic to be used by teachers in high school settings.

The Curriculum Enrichment Program (CEP) provides a structure and orientation for teachers to develop curriculum to study international relations topics.

Through the generosity of Captain Bill Taylor, the Camden Conference sponsors a student research competition open to high school and college students. The competition focuses on a Conference topic related project challenge to schools and universities. In 2014, Unity College student Sarah Bicknell was awarded a $1,000 prize for creating “Gardens in a Box,” in the competition for the “The Global Politics of Food and Water” 2014 Conference competition.
