WEATHER CANCELLATION: What Can We Learn About How the World Works From “Digital Natives?” ~ an Oceanside High School Student Panel in Rockland

February 13, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm EST

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER. On Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 6:00 PM, Oceanside high school students, members of the school’s Liberal Arts Academy and the Gifted & Talented Program, present their views on the era of Social Media, their primary source for communication, information, and education. The students will moderate their own panel discussion, and members of the community will then have the opportunity to ask questions. The event takes place in Oceanside High School’s new cafeteria and light refreshments will be served. THIS EVENT WAS RESCHEDULED FROM JANUARY 16.

This free event is presented in anticipation of the 33rd Annual Camden Conference—The Media Revolution: Changing the World, February 21-23, 2020, live at the Camden Opera House and live streamed to the Hutchinson Center in Belfast, Strand Theatre in Rockland, and Hannaford Hall in Portland.

The mission of the Camden Conference is to foster informed discourse on world issues. For more information, please visit www.camdenconference.org or call 207-236-1034.
