“Managing Turbulence: A Poetry Sampler” at the Cushing Public Library

November 20, 2022 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm EST

The Camden Conference and the Cushing Public Library will host “Managing Turbulence: A Poetry Sampler” with poems selected by, and facilitated by Ellen Goldsmith, on Sunday, November 20 at 1:30pm. This event will be on Zoom and open to all. Please email wrobertsmaine63@gmail.com to register. Registration opens on November 1.

In turbulent times, whether personal, social, political, where do we turn? Through the ages, poets have inhabited this territory, finding paths of inquiry and discovery. This year’s poetry session for Camden Conference Community Events will feature ten poems—classic and contemporary—presented by ten readers. Together the poems and readers’ perspectives will create a collage of ideas and emotions. The poems are available to everyone on the Camden Conference website in advance. (see below)
