Climate Change Forum
May 11, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

The First Congregational Church, Camden, will host a forum on the subject of climate change and what actions citizens may take to address the problem. The free program is open to the public. The format includes two speakers followed by up to 60 minutes of Q&A and discussion. Featured speakers will be Dylan Voorhees, Climate and Clean Energy Director at the Natural Resources Council of Maine, and Bruce Cole, President of McNabb Marketing Resources. An important goal of the program is to emphasize the role that we, as citizens, can play in influencing local, state, and federal governments to formulate policies that will lower the use of fossil fuels and reduce carbon footprints. The Climate Change Forum is part of the church’s faith and public action series.
