Camden Conference presents Belfast Area High School students discussing “The Changing Media Landscape: A 21st Century Student Perspective”

A panel of five Belfast Area High School juniors and seniors will discuss where and how they get news, what sources they like and how they distinguish real from questionable stories School on Tuesday, November 12 at 6:30pm at the Belfast Free Library. The topic will be “The Changing Media Landscape: A 21st Century Student Perspective.” This event is free and open to all.
The students, Ashley Blais, Anjelika Cheskin, Andrew McBride, Nathaniel Sjogren and Daniel Snider, will offer their own views and will report on a survey of Belfast High School students and faculty on these questions. The panel will be moderated by Matt Storin, president of Camden Conference and past editor of the Boston Globe. Zachery Smith, Belfast Area High School English teacher, is coordinating the survey and student participation.
