Camden Conference and CIFF present a Q & A Webinar with Maria Ressa and Ramona Diaz on August 21
August 21, 2020 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm EDT
The Camden Conference and Camden International Film Festival (CIFF) will host a special Q & A Webinar with journalist Maria Ressa and A THOUSAND CUTS filmmaker Ramona Diaz on Friday, August 21 at 8pm. The exclusive event is open to attendees of the film – either through virtual screening or at the Drive-In – and to Camden Conference Members. Please email [email protected] to request a link to attend the webinar.
In A Thousand Cuts, Diaz follows key players from two sides of an increasingly dangerous war between press and government. Representing the journalists is fearless Rappler CEO Maria Ressa, who, despite arrests and harassment from the regime of President Rodrigo Duterte, continues to publish articles holding a lawless regime accountable.
A Thousand Cuts will be screened at the Shotwell Drive-In Theater in Rockport on August 19 at 7:45pm. For those who cannot attend the screening in Rockport, $12 virtual tickets for A Thousand Cuts are available starting on August 19 through CIFF. You will be able to watch the film via your web browser or thru the Eventive app on your home Roku or AppleTV. For tickets and details, please visit the CIFF website HERE.
