African Innovations in Peace and Development: Fambul Tok

February 11, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm EST

Libby Hoffman, President of Catalyst for Peace, will discuss the work of Fambul Tok (‘Family Talk’), the organization she helped found that fosters reconciliation in communities that were affected by the 11-year civil war in Sierra Leone. Hoffman will share the stories and describe the values and processes at the center of Fambul Tok on Thursday, February 11 at 6 pm at Lunt Auditorium at OceanView.

This is a free community event sponsored by Falmouth Memorial Library, Freeport Community Library and Merrill Memorial Library, in partnership with the Camden Conference and the World Affairs Council of Maine, in anticipation of the 29th Annual Camden Conference: The New Africa, to be held February 19-22, 2016 in Camden.
