Conference makes Boston Globe

Posted Thursday October 11, 2007

The Wednesday, Oct. 10, edition of the Boston Globe featured an article by Hilary Nangle titled "Camden Conference Thinks Locally, Acts Globally."

 The article begins:

CAMDEN, Maine - In many ways it's appropriate that Camden, home to part of Maine's famed windjammer fleet, is also home to The Camden Conference. In their heyday, windjammers sailed around the globe, bringing news, ideas, and goods from exotic ports home to Maine. So too does the conference, an annual gathering focused on world affairs that draws an international cast of foreign policy movers and shakers to this tiny midcoast town.

You can also find an article written by the same author devoted to Camden's other attractions, including lodging and meals, here.
